The Workout Program:
The Game 7 workout is 45 - 60 minutes in length. Each session begins with 10 minutes of core warm-up and 10 minutes of a dynamic work-up. There are 6 essential circuits at Game 7: Power, Plyometrics, Cardio, Agility, Power Agility and Dynamic Strength.
Power: Focuses on free weights and Olympic lifts
Plyometrics: Power and multi-directional plyometric actions
Cardio: Intervals of cardio training
Agility: Innovative challenges of balance, coordination, and proprioception
Power Agility: Resistance training of balance, coordination, and proprioception
Dynamic Strength: Strength and movement challenges using resistance and weights
The Functional Exam:
Functional testing is what truly sets McGovern Physical Therapy Associates’ Game 7 Sports Training program apart. Each client is initially tested with a comprehensive, functional exam. The Functional Exam has 3 levels of testing: Core, Dynamic and Elite.
The Core exam analyzes basic human movement. The test screens for any movement abnormalities, muscle imbalances, flexibility restrictions and proprioceptive problems.
The Dynamic exam analyzes the tests from the Core exam under dynamic or movable conditions or surfaces. They challenge the body’s proprioceptive, balance and muscle synergy systems.
The Elite exam tests each client’s agility, strength, power, endurance, speed and quickness.
Each client will fit into levels named Game 1 through Game 7, a core beginner to an elite athlete. Each level of the exam then has a pass or fail grade which must be passed before going on to the next exam. This testing will measure and ensure that each client gets the results they are looking for.

"A day in GAME7"
"I'm fitter and have more flexibility than I have had since I was 20. I'm 50 pounds lighter, two shirt sizes and three pants sizes smaller. My cholesterol has dropped dramatically, my blood pressure is a solid 120/80 (from 158/100) and I haven't needed a rescue inhaler since I started
Game 7."
